The London Wildlife Trust writes... Understanding where butterflies are found in London and how abundant they are helps us better understand the issues they face and what solutions we can provide. In the UK many species of butterfly are in decline, but in London things are looking more hopeful with numbers of some butterfly species actually increasing.

Having already successfully co-ordinated the nationwide ‘Toads on Roads’ project for 30 years and with the recent launch of their ‘Wildlife Tunnel Campaign’ for all amphibians, reptiles and small mammals, Froglife will be hosting a global webinar on ‘Wildlife Road Mortality on 10th March 2021’
Thank you for everyone who joined us at our quarterly meeting on Tuesday. It was great hearing all the updates and that despite the lockdown and Tier 4 we still managed to organise 95 events and engage over 500 people, all of course in line with Covid guidance!
