Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme is changing! We are expanding to fund a wider range of projects – and you can now apply for a grant all year round.

In order to give Tesco customers a regular say on where their money goes, the Bags of Help scheme will now be open all year round for applications from community organisations, with grants awarded on a monthly basis.

In addition, the money raised by the 5p bag charge in Tesco stores will now be opened up to a greater range of projects.
