Mountsfield Park is the green heart of the community in Catford and Hither Green. It is used and loved by residents of all ages and backgrounds, and The Friends of Mountsfield Park was established to represent their wishes and needs. FOMP is committed to engaging with all sections of the community in order to celebrate and enjoy the Park, and membership is open to all. FOMP delivers events, manages the Community Garden project, and shares information and news. The London Wildlife Trust writes... Understanding where butterflies are found in London and how abundant they are helps us better understand the issues they face and what solutions we can provide. In the UK many species of butterfly are in decline, but in London things are looking more hopeful with numbers of some butterfly species actually increasing.
We appreciate and we are thankful for all the wonderful work our volunteers do, every day, but we couldn't let this day go unrecognised! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR ALL THE FANTASITC WORK YOU DO!
